People flock to lake in Minsk to feed wintering birds amid cold snap
Flocks of ducks and swans have remained on the Krynitsa artificial lake near Minsk to spend the winter there.
There is an area of open, ice-free water where birds swim. Up to 40 mute swans and several hundred mallards
Many people turned out on the lake's shores on Sunday to feed the birds as the mercury plunged below minus 15 degrees Celsius. //BelaPAN
