Belarusian Christian Democracy to set up Committee for Aid to Ukraine
Belarusian Christian Democracy has decided to set up a Committee for Aid to Ukraine, Paval Sevyarynets, co-chairman of the unregistered party, announced Monday at a news conference in Minsk.
According to Mr. Sevyarynets, the first meeting of the committee is to be held on March 19. Belarusian politicians, public figures and activists who took part in Euromaidan protests in Kyiv will be invited to attend the meeting, he said.
“We hope that the committee’s work will result in a number of events in support of Ukraine and its people,” Mr. Sevyarynets said. //BelaPAN
