Young man in Homyel has eyes gouged out in apparent attack by friends high on drugs
A young man had his eyes cut out and his face badly disfigured in an apparent attack by intoxicated friends in Homyel late on July 21, said the interior ministry's press office.
The man, 23, was found inside a single-apartment house by police officers who were responding to a report of disorderly behavior at the address.
Two other men, aged 29 and 21, who were visibly high on drugs, were found lying on a bed near him.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, while his companions were arrested.
The three men are believed to have smoked synthetic marijuana before the incident. // BelaPAN
