Volunteers representing Francisak Skaryna Homyel State University are digging up what was once a military camp of Kievan Rus.

The excavation is being done near a village in the Loyew district, Homyel region, where Kievan Rus soldiers are believed to have camped out in the 10th and 11th centuries.
