Dollar reaches new record high at 3,010 rubels

 

The US dollar climbed to a new record high against the Belarusian rubel, closing at 3,010 rubels at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange on June 4.

The previous record, set on June 3, was 3,005 rubels.

Twenty-five banks took part in Friday’s trading in the US dollar, with the demand totaling $45.3 million and the supply amounting to $41.3 million.

The euro closed at 3,665 rubels, down from 3,689 on the previous day.

The Russian ruble declined from 97.27 to 96.88 rubels.

Since the beginning of the year, the Belarusian rubel has decreased by 5.13 percent against the dollar and by 2.35 percent against the Russian ruble, and risen by 10.72 percent against the euro. //BelaPAN
