Human rights defenders answer questions from visitors to BelaPAN`s news website
Aleh Hulak, chairman of the Belarusian Helsinki Committee, (right) and one more prominent rights defender, Valyantsin Stefanovich, visited BelaPAN`s office on Tuesday to answer questions from visitors to the information company`s news website https://naviny.by.
The Belarusian Helsinki Committee and the Vyasna human rights group led by Mr. Stefanovich plan to carry out a joint large-scale campaign to monitor Belarus` ongoing presidential race and report their findings to the Belarusian and international community.
They are set to nominate 80 long-term and 600 short-term observers to monitor the campaign and the main voting day scheduled for December 19.
