Producer price ceilings for poultry meat, eggs, lowest price category of bakery products raised by 10 percent
The Belarusian economy ministry has issued a directive providing for a 10-percent increase in the producer price ceilings for poultry meat, eggs and the lowest price category of bakery products, which include all-rye breads, rye-wheat breads and wheat flour bakery products with a fat and sugar content of up to 14 percent.
In addition, the economy ministry has allowed producers to increase their prices for low-fat dairy products by 3.5 percent in November and 3.5 percent in December, and for high-fat dairy products by 2.5 percent in each of the months.
The agriculture ministry has, by its directive, raised milk purchasing prices paid by state-owned processing companies to producers by 10 percent.
In particular, prices have been raised from 2,810,000 rubels to 3,091,000 ($332) per ton for first-grade milk, from 3,047,000 rubels to 3,352,000 rubels for prime-grade milk and from 3,537,000 to 3,891,000 rubels for "extra"-grade milk.
The previous increase in milk purchasing prices occurred in early August, when they were also raised by 10 percent. //BelaPAN
