Belarusian man arrested in Luhansk on suspicion of recruiting two Ukrainian women to engage in prostitution in Turkey
A Belarusian man was arrested in Luhansk on Wednesday for allegedly trying to take two Ukrainian women to Turkey to engage in prostitution.
The 23-year-old Belarusian was arrested by police at the city’s railroad station, reported Ukrainian news website comments.ua with reference to the press office of the Luhansk provincial police department. The man was reportedly accompanied by two women, residents of Luhansk 19 and 27 years of age.
Criminal proceedings were instituted against the suspect under Part One of the Ukrainian Criminal Code’s Article 303, which penalizes recruitment for prostitution. //BelaPAN
