Secretary of state of Latvian foreign ministry to visit Minsk on Friday
Andris Teikmanis, secretary of state of the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will pay a working visit to Belarus on February 3, Andrey Savinykh, spokesman for the Belarusian foreign ministry, told reporters in Minsk on Thursday.
Mr. Teikmanis will meet with Foreign Minister Syarhey Martynaw and Deputy Foreign Minister Syarhey Aleynikaw to discuss the current state of relations between Belarus and the European Union and their prospects, as well as “other issues of mutual interest," said Mr. Savinykh.
Mr. Teikmanis will also meet with Transport Minister Ivan Shcherba, who co-chairs the Belarusian-Latvian interstate committee on economic, scientific and technical cooperation, he added. //BelaPAN
