Ducks, swans wintering near Minsk
Flocks of ducks and swans are staying on the Krynitsa artificial lake near Minsk amid a spell of Arctic weather, attracting many people willing to feed them.
There is a patch of open, ice-free water where birds swim.
The number of mute swans on the lake has dwindled by some 10 to 15 birds compared with late January.
The birds eagerly take food from people's hands and even come to the shore to be fed. //BelaPAN
