National Bank head meets with foreign bankers

 

Nadzeya Yermakova, head of the National Bank of Belarus (NBB), on April 26 had a number of meetings with visiting foreign bankers.

In particular, according to the NBB press office, Ms. Yermakova held talks with Tuvakmammet Japarov, chairman of the board of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, to discuss issues concerning the development of cooperation between the central banks of the two countries.

Cooperation issues were also under discussion at Ms. Yermakova’s meeting with the president of Russia’s Bank of Khanty-Mansiysk, Dmitry Mizgulin.

Ms. Yermakova also met with representatives of Poland’s Getin International S.a., which owns Sombelbank in Minsk. Participants at the meeting exchanged opinions on the prospects for cooperation and ways of building up the bank’s capital, the NBB press office said. //BelaPAN
