«Bison» from «Song about the Bison», a new rock release by Suzorye

Suzorye, one of Belarus’ rock legends, have finished their long-awaited “Song about the Bison,” an album the band had been working on since 1981. The album is based on “Song about the Bison and his Stature and Fierceness and about Hunting for the Bison” by Mikołaj Hussowczyk, a 16th-century Belarusian poet who wrote in Latin.

The release was supported by the US embassy and is due within a few weeks. There are 11 tracks in the album. One of them, “Bison” (Zubr), appears on our site courtesy of Suzorye.
