Festival celebrating egg dishes held in Minsk cafe
A festival celebrating egg dishes was held in the Deja Vu cafe in Minsk on Tuesday, BelaPAN said.
The event was organized within the framework of the Best Product 2010 contest instituted in 1998 to study consumers’ preferences and promote food products.
“German and US dietitians have studied properties of the egg, finding out that its inclusion in a person's everyday diet may even help him lose weight,” said Ina Talkachova, deputy CEO of the Salihorsk Poultry Plant.
The Number One Minsk Poultry Plant, the Salihorsk farm and the Baranavichy Poultry Plant took part in the festival.
Visitors were invited to try egg dishes cooked at the event.
